Experimenting with colour meter

I played with different layer options to see how it would affect the luminosity and make the appearance better.

The video is when I was experimenting in After Effects because I wanted to place a happiness meter in the video as a humour factor. I wanted to have it to monitor the characters happiness throughout the film to highlight that 'emotion', and by the end of the video, both characters would have the same volume of happiness when eating the cake.

I do not think it will go in the final video but I wanted to show that I experimented with the idea, the meter in the video is not the look I was going for because I was just following this tutorial I found, http://www.mediacollege.com/adobe/after-effects/audio/vu/, it had enough information to help me get started.

However, if I was to have a meter in the video, I was experimenting with different colours because certain colours convey different emotions and I wanted to make the meter look good when placed in the scenes.
