My Skills set

As I am in my second year on my course, I am more sure of where my interests lie.

I have learnt to use new software such Maya and After Effects, improved my editing skills in Final Cut Pro.

I would like to improve my skills in Maya because I am interested in Visual Effect and understanding 3D modeling would help a lot. The main project we are doing now is a Visual Effect project, which will give me the chance to learn compositing skills that I will find very useful when forwarding my practice.

I am working on improving my film skills, as that is where my interest lies, and combining that with compositing and Visual Effect effects. When I say film skills, I mean being able to film better videos, understand cinematography techniques and editing skills.

In terms of working in a team, I would roles such as cameraman or editor. 

I hope to be able to take on more roles such as being a compositor or Visual Effects editor. Most of these roles I want to take on are very technical, so I am going to continue working on Maya, Final Cut Pro and After Effects because it would be good to have a general or high knowledge of these software as the roles I would like will use them in some way or another.
