Texturing my Treehouse

I did stick with the idea of how I was going to texture my tree house however, I used the Photoshop brush texture as the texture for the inside walls of the house than the outside.

I combined two images from google, one of an oak tree texture and the other of wood/grass texture.

These created a good effect as can be seen in the image above of my UV of the house.

I did not use the texture that was used on the inner walls on the exterior because when I applied it on the first attempt, I did not like the effect so I thought I needed more detail for the exterior texture. I am happy with my tree houses, I think I have put the most thought into how they would be laid out and textured that it worked out alright.

Combining the two image textures above helped to convey the idea of 'FEAR' because the leaves growing out of the wood adds to the idea of the tree houses being abandoned which is why I kept the texture the way it was and just experimented with combining it other textures and experimenting with a variety of Photoshop layer modes.
