Game: Psychonauts

I bought Psychonauts off Steam which is one of the games that I have played that is not on my Gameboy Advanced. I am not a gamer so it takes me time to buy a game and to even start playing it. However I thought I would talk about how this has been relevant to the construction of my game level.

I would say that I have not used Psychonauts to help generate the ideas I came up with for my game level, instead I used films, tv shows and artists concept to help generate ideas for it.
Though playing the PC version has helped me think of any components or features that I would definitely want seen in the game level.

Though if there was time to add more features to my game level, playing Psychonauts and other games similar to it would definitely help to give me ideas because the game has so many levels that are all different and help to tell the story so I can think about storytelling within a game level in future modules.

The texture for this game I think has been drawn manually and created from scratch which I think makes it even better because it makes it unique. The characters have been drawn with an usual appearance and this helps to add to the backstory of the game.

I enjoy playing the game so hopefully on a future game module I shall expand my research into different types of games.
