As part of my research, I shall be posting the above 5 words to talk about
different environments and what category they fall in.


This photo below I think can show FEAR or CALM, depending on how you interpret it.
The image below looks to be of a cave with a stream running through it. The stream has a green tint to it, this means that there must be a light source from a high level. The foggy background helps add depth to this scenery. If this was to be part of a game environment, it could make the storyline interesting as the character might want to explore more into the cave.
The FEAR feeling could be because caves are deep and no one knows what inhabits them unless you explore so that could generate the feeling of FEAR in a character.
The CALM feeling could be because it is an isolated place where a character might come to think and be by itself.

The image below I would say conveys the idea of AWE because from the angle it is drawn at makes the building look bigger and more interesting. It also looks very deserted but has a curiosity about it, this would be ideal when trying to make an interesting storyline. The detail of the textures helps add to the AWE, the building is surrounded by vegetation so the idea of how it was built adds to the mystery.
