The charity that is privately funded, Film Education will be closing soon.
This means that the resources and opportunities it provided will have reduced.
''The charity says its resources were used by 1.6 million children and young people in the classroom. More than half a million attended its free in cinema screening events and festivals each year, a total of 4.4 million since the inaugural event in 1997.''
This means that these children miss out on the chance to go to the cinema screening events held by Film Education.
The bigger problem is that this could hurt the Art Culture of society, therefore not allowing children and students to explore their creative ideas and the contacts of film companies the charity would have had is a good source for budding new filmmakers to start networking.
There are other companies that still provide the services that Film Education had, which are FilmClub and First Light. These shall be carrying on the work that Film education did while they were still operating.
